The YMCA Sleep Easy

is a National fundraising event,intended to raise awareness of the issue of youth homelessness whilst raising vital funds to support individual YMCA's work with young people in many different ways.

A Sleep Easy is a sponsored sleep out event, and ours will be held in the Orangery at the Orchard in Erdington. Local businesses can get involved by sleeping 'out' their offices ... It's meant to be challenging but fun, as participants take the chance to support their local YMCA. All funds received will go towards the second phase of our redevelopment, the youth and community hub, which will be a facility built for the local community.

We are looking for individuals, families, teams, schools and businesses to support us in this event, either by sponsoring us and the young people who participate, or by participating themselves. We will be providing food in the evening and and breakfast in the morning, as well as plenty of activities and games to keep us warm. Will you sleep rough...so others don't have to?
