Here at Birmingham YMCA we understand the importance of providing safe, secure and comfortable accommodation which provides the foundation on which our support staff are able to empower and encourage young people preparing them for more independent living. We have seven sites across the city of Birmingham, and work in partnership with Focus Futures (part of the Midland Heart Group).

We offer services to single homeless males and females above the age of 16 who are at a point of crisis in their lives and may be at risk of, or actually homeless. Our accommodation based support services are offered up to a maximum of 2 years and we have strong links and partnerships with other agencies providing a holistic approach to homelessness, mental health, substance misuse, training, education, employment and life skills.

Through our support packages, tailored to meet individual needs, we aim to assist our residents to develop the skills, confidence and experience to sustain independence and contribute to their communities.
