Housing & Accommodation Services Manager

I have worked within the social housing field for around 10 years. After working for a large inner city housing association, I joined Birmingham YMCA in April 2001 as a Housing Officer at our Northfield site.

Birmingham YMCA has allowed me to develop, and I have held a number of posts leading to my current position of heading up the Housing & Accommodation Services Department.

I have my Higher National Certificate in Housing Studies, and am a practitioner member of the Chartered Institute of Housing.

I recognise the need for people to have a safe, secure and stable environment in which to move forward and concentrate on other areas of their lives, I therefore strive to ensure that my department works hard as a team to ensure this is achieved.
