The total cost of the Orchard scheme is approximately £13million.

Thanks to the Department of Communities & Local Government and Mercian Housing Association we have already raised £11.5million and work on the first phase of the site - 83 flats, plus associated offices and meeting rooms has already started. Completion of this phase is scheduled for September 2010.

Once the first phase is completed we want to begin the second phase of building the Youth & Community Centre immediately.

To do so we need to raise a further £1.5million, and we are seeking the help of the whole city of Birmingham to assist us to reach this target. We are looking for individuals, institutions and companies to help us and we have a number of options to suit you and/or your business.
